Data We Do Not Collect

Free Dhamma does not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or fingerprints
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Browsing or listening history
• Any data that could identify you

Local Storage Only

All app data is stored locally on your device:

• Downloaded audio files — Stored on your device for offline listening
• Playback position — Saved locally so you can resume where you left off
• Play statistics — Kept on your device only, never transmitted
• App preferences — Stored securely on your device

This data never leaves your device and is fully under your control. You can delete all stored data at any time through the app's Settings.

No Accounts Required

Free Dhamma does not require you to create an account. The old student password is validated locally on your device and is not sent to any server.

No Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no SDKs collecting data in the background.

Network Requests

The app connects to the internet only to:

• Download audio files you request (from freedhamma.com)
• Check for available content updates

These requests do not transmit any personal information.

Push Notifications

If you opt in to push notifications, we may send occasional notifications about new Dhamma audio content. Your device token is handled by Apple's Push Notification service. We do not associate this token with any personal information.

Children's Privacy

Free Dhamma does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update this page. However, our commitment to collecting no personal data will never change.
